Located in an exceptionally secluded setting in the rolling hills of Alsace, yet conveniently near the German, Swiss, Luxemburg and Belgium boarders, 2.5 hours by express train (TGV) from Paris, 40 mn by car North of Strasbourg, one of the 3 capital cities of Europe, and still only few minutes’ drive to the shops and railway station of nearby small town of Ingwiller.
The 400 sqm house on 3 levels radiates elegance, charm and tranquility: 11 rooms incl. 6 double rooms, 1 quadruple, 2 single beds and sofa bed in the large play room, 2 bathrooms (bathtub + shower) 5 independent showers + 6 WC, equipped kitchen, laundry room, dining room and lounge with large fireplace, red stone walls and exposed beams, separate dinning/event hall “Alsacian Winstub” with century old fashioned stone oven.

Our family of 14 (9 adults, 4 children, 1 baby) spent the Christmas holidays in this beautiful home, and we had such a wonderful time that we're already planning to come back. There were truly no problems with our entire stay, and we were amazed at the fine quality of everything inside. Large kitchen, beautiful bed linens, a huge fireplace with firewood, horses for the kids to pet and bicycles for them to ride, very comfortable beds, modern bathrooms, even decorated for Christmas! We were able to take walks in the trails behind the house and take pleasant day trips to the surrounding villages. Groceries were close, 5 minutes drive into town. The best part was Marilou and Philippe, who supplied us with maps, ideas, flammekuchen, and were extremely easy and responsive to work with in planning for our stay. Un seul mot, parfait! Nous avons passé un we lors d'une réunion de famille au moulin et tout était parfait, maison charmante et super équipée (tant à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur avec des vélos, une table de ping pong des jeux pour enfants), région splendide, propriétaire sympathique, de bons conseils et discret.Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la grande cheminée. Si l'occasion se représente, c'est certain on reviendra !

Vom 19.-25.10.2015 habe ich mit 14 Amateursänger-/innen eine Singwoche veranstaltet. Auf die Moulin Vollach bin ich Anfang des Jahres durch Zufall gestossen. Schon der Kontakt mit Marie-Louise war sehr herzlich und unkompliziert. Als wir dann angereist waren und die Mühle in Augenschein genommen haben, war es ein einziges "Ah" und "Oh"... - kurz: dieser Ort ist wirklich wunderbar, das Haus ist super ausgestattet und familiär gemütlich auch für Gruppen. Auch Menschen, die sich nicht so gut kennen, wird das gemeinsame Miteinander leicht gemacht. Marie-Louise und Philippe sind zudem herzliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Hinzu kommt die freundliche Art der Ingwiller Bevölkerung (auch Deutschen gegenüber). Alles in Allem: ein wunderbarer Ort, den ich gerne weiterempfehle! Wir kommen jedenfalls bestimmt wieder...
